About the event

In 2025, the United States Army, Navy, and Marine Corps mark their 250th anniversaries—a historic milestone in our nation’s defense. Woodville joins in honoring the legacy of American service members with a special event highlighting 250 years of military history.


Join us for a day of living history, military reenactments, and meticulously crafted displays, including:


- Live military drills spanning multiple eras, from the 18th century to modern times

- Gun and weaponry displays showcasing arms through the decades

- Military miniature exhibits—featuring hundreds of hand-painted soldiers and detailed dioramas representing the armies of North America and Europe during the late 1700s

- First-person presentation of Martin R. Delany (1812–1885), a trailblazing African American abolitionist, physician, and the first Black field officer in the U.S. Army

- Talks on the military history of Woodville’s families, including:

o The Neville family and their service during the American Revolution and Wayne’s Legion

o The Wrenshall family’s involvement in the Civil War


We welcome local veterans, VFWs, and military history enthusiasts to take part in this tribute to the courage, sacrifice, and legacy of our armed forces. Come experience history brought to life! ADMISSION IS FREE FOR ALL GUESTS.
