VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES

Woodville offers a diverse range of volunteer and professional experiences. Whether you're interested in historical research, interpretation, business administration, maintenance, marketing, fundraising, event planning, gardening, or tech support, there’s a place for you to contribute and grow. Explore meaningful ways to give back while engaging with history and the community!

VOLUNTEER POSITIONS AVAILABLE AT WOODVILLE 

Museum Aide – Greet visitors and manage the gift shop.

 

Docent – Lead tours, sharing knowledge about the Neville, Cowan, and Wrenshall families, as well as 18th-century life.

 

Interpreter – Conduct tours in period attire, with an understanding of historical clothing.

 

Gardener – Maintain our historic garden with knowledge of 18th-century gardening techniques.

 

Maintenance – Assist with groundskeeping, painting, and general upkeep.

 

Design & Tech Help – Support the website, emails, and technology infrastructure.

Wayne’s 4th Sub Legion – Participate in reenactments as part of our militia group.

 

Special Events – Assist with large-scale events and activities.
